Presents the 2008 Annual Gala
The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Midlands Annual Gala was a wonderful success! On Saturday, February 2, nearly 300 friends and supporters came out to help us celebrate a tremendous year as well as the accomplishments of our Members and Alumni. 2007 was quite a year. We opened 12 additional Clubs, bringing our total to 20 in the Midlands, and served more than 7,500 children.
One of these children stood out above all the others, and on Saturday night we named Whitney Myers our 2007 Youth of the Year. We also inducted Heyward Hinton and Robert Hill into our Alumni Hall of Fame. Following dinner and the formal program, guests danced the night away to live music by Threshold.
